I love diving deep into understanding customers’ questions and challenges, and then figuring out how brand messaging can help.

Whether they’re in a blog, article, email, newsletter, web copy, or social media, words have a massive impact on both readers and businesses. I feel so grateful that I get to play a role in that.

I have been writing professionally for over 7 years. In that time, I’ve honed my areas of expertise to health/wellness, business/marketing, and technology.

2009

graduated college

I got my B.A. in English Literature but wasn’t ready to start writing professionally just yet.

Instead I worked as a college prep tutor and consultant and helped students prepare for the ACT/SAT and apply to college.

2014

Published My First Travel Article

Fun fact: I’m also a freelance travel writer! I started this gig in 2014 and am still travel writing today.

The not-so-fun part of 2014: I was also balancing an 8-5 office job that really burned me out.

2017

Started Content Marketing Writing/Copywriting

I took a massive leap of faith, trusted my gut, and quit my full-time 8-5 job to be a freelance content marketing writer/copywriter.

I went through some other major life changes this year, including picking up my life and moving solo to Venice Beach, California.

2017 was a big year and was when my writing career really began.

2022

Reached New Heights With My Business

This year reached success I didn’t expect, and it was a wonderful surprise.

The other surprise in 2022 that wasn’t so great? My partner Elliott was diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer. He underwent brain surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation this year.

Today

I love my work more than ever, Elliott’s health is great, and I can’t wait to see where life takes me next!
